Purchased DVDs of his films and first season of Mentalist. Just received first season of The Guardian and that was a revelation. In that, sometimes disturbing, series his acting range, edgy, angry, faulted, was displayed. A meaty role. This is a professional who can be taken seriously - one of the very few true "stars" performing today.
